Terms

Terms of Use.

The agreement between you and LUQR. Last updated August 2026.

LUQR is a homeowner management platform. It is designed to help you understand, organize, and care for your home. LUQR does not replace licensed inspections, contractors, appraisers, attorneys, tax professionals, or other qualified experts. Always consult a licensed professional before making decisions that affect the safety, structure, or financial standing of your home.

Acceptable use

You agree to use LUQR lawfully and respectfully. You will not attempt to break, probe, reverse-engineer, or overload the service, use it to send spam or malware, upload content you don't have the right to upload, or use it to harass or harm anyone.

Account responsibilities

You're responsible for keeping your password secure, for the activity on your account, and for the accuracy of the information you enter. Please let us know right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Homeowner responsibilities

LUQR helps you plan and track home care, but you remain responsible for the actual work — including hiring qualified professionals, following manufacturer instructions, obtaining permits where required, and complying with local codes and HOA rules. Reminders and recommendations are prompts, not guarantees that a task is complete or that your home is safe.

Recommendations are informational

Maintenance tasks, cost estimates, timing suggestions, property value estimates, and AI answers from Ask LUQR are informational and educational. They are not professional inspections, appraisals, legal advice, tax advice, or engineering opinions. Third-party data (address, public property records, market estimates) can be incomplete or out of date. Verify anything important with a licensed professional before you act on it.

Limitation of liability

LUQR is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, LUQR and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or property damage arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to LUQR is limited to the amount you have paid us for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars, whichever is greater.

Intellectual property

LUQR, the LUQR name and logo, the task library, the LUQR Network directory, and the app itself are owned by LUQR, Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use LUQR for managing your own home. You may not copy, resell, or build a competing product from our content.

Your content

Content you add to LUQR — notes, custom tasks, uploaded documents, photos — remains yours. You grant LUQR the limited permission needed to store, display, and process that content so we can provide the service to you (for example, showing a document back to you, generating a preview, or including relevant context in an Ask LUQR answer). You are responsible for having the rights to any content you upload.

Paid features (future)

LUQR is free today. If we introduce paid features in the future, we'll clearly show the price, billing frequency, and what's included before you subscribe. Paid plans will renew automatically unless canceled, and you'll be able to cancel at any time from your account. These terms will govern paid features unless we present additional terms specific to a subscription.

Termination

You can stop using LUQR and delete your account at any time by contacting hello@luqr.com. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or create risk for other homeowners or for LUQR. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, limitation of liability, governing law) will continue to apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you agree to that jurisdiction, unless your local law grants you rights that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as LUQR evolves. If we make a material change, we'll let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use LUQR after an update means you accept the new terms.
